This stabilized whipped cream can be used for so many recipes. It is so versatile, it is great for decorating cakes, cupcake and donut fillings and for my Decadent Chocolate Brownie Trifle.

Wilton's Stabilized Whipped Cream

Servings: 2 cups
Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon unflavoured gelatin
  • 4 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sifted icing sugar
Instructions
  1. In a small pan, combine gelatin and cold water; let stand until thick

  2. Place over low heat, stirring constantly, just until the gelatin dissolves

  3. Remove from heat, cool ( do not allow to set)

  4. Whip the cream with the icing sugar until slightly thick

  5. Wile slowly bearing, add the gelatin to the whipping cream

  6. Whip on high speed until stiff
