Baking Soda Home Remedies – These Will Change Your Life!


Baking Soda is AMAZING for a number of things. Not only is it great for baking and cooking but it is a great household cleaning product as well. 


Cleaning Tile Grout

Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking together .Put it on your tile grout let it sit for a few min .Then with a nail brush or old toothbrush scrub and rinse with clean water and the dirt is gone. For stubborn stains you may have to do this a couple of times.

Polish your teeth

Add a small amount of baking soda to your toothpaste on your brush to clean your teeth and they will be sparkling white and you will have fresh breathe.

Make your own deodorant

  1. Mix baking soda and arrowroot or cornstarch together in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Mash in coconut oil with a fork until well mixed.
  3. Add essential oils if desired.
  4. Store in small glass jar or old deodorant container for easy use.


 Mix 3 parts of baking soda to 1 part water. Rub gently in a circular motion and then rinse clean.

Relieve Skin Irritation

Add 1 cup of baking soda to your bathwater to soften your skin and relieve skin irritations.

Relieve Insect Bites

Make a simple paste of water and baking soda and apply as a cream to irritated skin.


Apply the baking soda and water mixture to dry or wet hair by starting at the roots and working to the ends. Let it sit for 1 – 3 minutes then rinse with warm water. Add a heaping scoop of baking soda to your normal dish soap and let soak for a while. Baking soda helps gut grease and make it easier to clean.

To clean the stove, add a scoop of baking soda and add about 1 tsp of white vinegar, make a paste. Rub it over the stove top and let sit for about 5 mins, scrub clean and watch it sparkle.
