Appetizer Dip Recipes – Great For Any Kind of Party

You get a phone call from friends you haven’t seen in awhile, saying they’re on their way over in a few hours “oh no! what to do?’ These simple and quick appetizers can get you out of jam and they will never know you just threw them together.



1  1/2 cups sour cream                                                                                             1 pkg frozen chopped spinach

1/2 cup Kraft Miracle Whip                                                                                    1 round loaf pumpernickel bread

4 green onions

1 pkg Knorr Vegetable soup mix

Thaw and drain spinach. Mix all ingredients; refrigerate in covered dish for 8 hours or  more. A couple of hours before serving at least. Put the dip into 1 hollowed out round loaf of pumpernickel bread.

Put remaining bread around the bowl to use for dipping. You can also eat the bread bowl that the dip is in!


seafood dip

1 (7oz) can medium size shrimp, drained

1 (4oz) can sliced ripe olives, drained

2 hard cooked eggs, finely chopped

1 (6oz) pkg Italian salad dressing mix

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1/3 cup picante sauce

2 tsp lemon juice

Combine all ingredients. Eat with a pita, bagel or chips.

1/4 cup butter creamed

8 oz bottle Kraft Cheez Whiz

1 1/2 tbsp Kraft Miracle Whip

1/2 tsp garlic salt

7 oz crab meat, washed and drained

Mix together and spread on sliced french bread slices. Broil, and serve warm


Stir-Frying to the Sky's Edge




veggie dip

2 cups Kraft Miracle Whip

2 tbsp Heinz ketchup

2 to 3 shakes Worcestershire sauce

Sprinkle garlic powder

Sprinkle onion salt

Couple drops Tabasco sauce

Mix together and served chilled, with raw veggies. It’s fast, easy and even kids love it.



2 lbs chicken wings

Corn oil

1/2 cup vinegar

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup Heinz ketchup

1/2 cup sugar

Salt to taste

1 tsp soya sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch

Fry chicken wings, in a small amount of oil as possible, until browned and tender. Removed from oil; drain on paper towels. Heat vinegar, water, ketchup, sugar, salt and soya sauce in saucepan. Mix cornstarch with a small amount of water to make paste; stir into sauce. Cook and stir sauce until smooth, transparent and thickened.

Serve hot or cold as dipping sauce for chicken wings
